Le classifiche fra i vari paesi sono uno sport mondiale e ne escono praticamente ogni giorno e su di ogni argomento. Per avere un posto dove collegarle tutte, o comunque quelle che mi piacciono o interessano, ho fatto questa pagina, cercando di suddividerle per argomento e/o emittente,e, all’interno, poco per volta, per anno o periodicità.

Pubblica il “The Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI)” che dal 1996 misura, per 223 paesi la governance che definisce cosi: “Governance consists of the traditions and institutions by which authority in a country is exercised. This includes the process by which governments are selected, monitored and replaced; the capacity of the government to effectively formulate and implement sound policies; and the respect of citizens and the state for the institutions that govern economic and social interactions among them.” Lo fa utilizzando sei indicatori (i rinvii rimandano alle fonti):

La Heritage Foundation dovrebbe essere una emanazione del Wall Street Journal, o almeno essere ad essa correlata, da quanto risulta da questo articolo.

The GCR was first published in 1979 and its coverage has expanded each year since, now extending to 134 major and emerging economies. Further expansion of coverage is planned.
